Matryoshkas Design - Confederation Cup - RUSSIA 2017

CONTEXT
The traditional Russian dolls known as "Matrioshkas" were offered to each of the Portuguese National Football Team players as a gesture of goodwill and to wish them good luck before their departure for Russia, where they are playing in the Confederations Cup.

BRIEFING
10 Portuguese based urban Artists were chosen to transform the Russian dolls into Portuguese symbols in order to inspire the National Team during the competition, which started on June 17th and ends on July 2nd. Codes of creativity include the use of the Portuguese National flag chromatic and the "Order of Christ Cross".

In this case the 2 dolls featured here were destined and offered to the player nº1, Rui Patrício, goal keeper .
In addition to the players of the National Selection two dolls were also offered to the Portuguese President of the Portuguese Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, and the President of the FPF, Fernando Gomes.
